Honestly I forgot this place existed. So...hello?

I live and in Japan now, so that's a thing. I haven't been drawing much (not that I have a scanner or my tablet here), but I recently starting sketching out character designs for a novelette I'm working on.  It's been so long since I saw my old drawings that I forgot that I drew some of them.  I forgot some of my old OCs.  It's funny how life works, huh? I used to draw every day in the summer.  I remember I would set up shop in the Gaia freebie art section and go to town drawing avatars.  Now, I spend more time making beautiful avatars than I do anything else on that site.  Maybe I should

So... I basically forgot this place existed.  Happy New Year.  Merry Christmas.  Happy Thanksgiving.  Happy MLK Day.  Uhm... Happy Winter Solstice?

I've totally been preoccupied with Tumblr as my main form of internet entertainment.  Inter-tainment if you will.  Net-ertainment?

I also haven't done much art stuff that I could post here.  The last drawings I did were part of presents for my boyfriend, so I can't really show you those.  I suppose I can post more pictures of my Wonder Woman cosplay from last year's Katsucon, especially since we won't be attending this year.  Due to certain circumstances, it took quite some time before we got all the pictures from the photographer, but now I have quite a few that I quite like.

Anyway, I'm not dead.  I'm just  busy with procrastinating on my school work.

Guess who's going to Japan for sure for sure?!


Now it's not just for the sheer joy of it, I'm actually going to study and all that jazz.  I'll be learning Japanese along with taking and independent study course where I document my experiences and write reports and research papers and stuff.  This is serious business.

I'm not looking forward to the papers but I'll have to deal with it I guess.  I'm just happy I'll be able to visit Japan.  I hope I don't act all crazy otaku touristy though.

So three weeks before school ended my family decided it would be a great idea to move.  For me that meant that someone else would be going through all of my stuff to pack it and decide what would stay, what would go, and where it would go in the packing process.  It was pretty distressing for me.  But my mom assured me that everything that looked important was packed (which doesn't mean much since she thinks I have too much crap anyways).  

So, back from school and in my new room I began unpacking my stuff for my desk only to find that the stylus for my tablet was missing.  That's right, I have my Bamboo tablet and my Bamboo tablet mouse but no Bamboo tablet stylus.  MY FREAKING STYLUS IS MISSING!!  My mom doesn't remember it and for all I know she doesn't care.

So now I have to either wait for more boxes to be brought over from the old place and hope it's in there or go out and buy a new one somehow because who knows where it could be.  This just adds to my pile of distress!  I was hoping to be able to make love to Photoshop when I got back from school because I've been missing my tablet.  But now I can't even do that.
